About
About ElectionsUSA
ElectionsUSA (ElectionsUSA.org) is an independent, non-partisan reference for United States election polling. It launched in October 2026, ahead of the midterms and the start of the 2028 presidential cycle, to fill a specific gap: a free, open-data polling average with a published method and a pollster scorecard that anyone can check.
Who runs it
ElectionsUSA is edited by Eren Menteşe, founder and editor. Eren works in marketing communications in Istanbul, on brand strategy and campaign management, and built ElectionsUSA as an independent, personal project. Elsewhere: linkedin.com, github.com.
The code and data pipeline are public on GitHub.
Independence and funding
The site has no affiliation with any candidate, party, campaign, PAC or polling firm and accepts no money from them. It currently runs without advertising or sponsorship.
Corrections
If a number doesn't match the pollster's release, report a data error on GitHub or email ernmentesee@gmail.com with the page, the pollster and the correct figure. Corrections are made in the underlying dataset, so they flow through to every chart, table and the API, and every material correction is listed with its old and new value on the corrections log.
Data and reuse
Our compilation of polls and the averages we compute are published under CC BY 4.0 on the data page. Poll results themselves are facts published by each pollster and credited on every row. Wikipedia is used as one compilation source for locating polls, and fields compiled from it are CC BY-SA 4.0. Prediction-market prices remain subject to the platform's terms. Historical accuracy statistics derive from FiveThirtyEight's open dataset (CC BY 4.0). See the terms of use.
Editorial standards
- We publish what pollsters publish. We do not run or commission polls.
- We do not forecast or declare winners. We compare final polls with official results, which come from state election authorities, and link to those authorities rather than re-reporting vote counts.
- Every change to the method is documented on the methodology page with its date, and every correction on the corrections log.
